Geocaching is a modern twist on treasure hunts: an outdoor game which uses global positioning by satellite (GPS) technology. Participants navigate to a specific set of GPS co-ordinates and then attempt to find the geocache (container) hidden at that location.
Geocaches are hidden all over the world and can be anything from a small container hidden in a hedgerow to something a bit more mysterious.
Geocaches are now hidden in various locations throughout Lincolnshire. Taking part in a geocache trail is great fun for the whole family and a perfect way to get out, explore and learn more about our fascinating countryside.
