The Engine Shed is the region’s largest live venue. In a renovated railway shed on the University of Lincoln campus it plays host to international musicians, comics and club nights.

The Venue at Bishop Grossteste University is a state-of-the-art cinema which offers an eclectic programme of film for up to 230 people. Pre-film drinks can be ordered at the bar.

Lincoln Drill Hall is a modern venue with a programme of music, theatre, comedy, literature and numerous children’s’ events and workshops including a Christmas pantomime. The £2.6 million refurbishment in 2004 saw the venue transformed, with its fully equipped auditorium and café bar with seating inside and out.

Lincoln Performing Arts Centre (LPAC) is a modern theatre in the city centre. It has 466 seats and is designed for live arts performances, conferences and film screenings. The Zing café bar is also open during performances.

Lincoln Theatre Royal is in the heart of historic Lincoln. A landmark in its own right, the present theatre was built in 1893, replacing the 1806 building destroyed in a fire. The venue hosts full scale musicals and productions.

Lincoln’s Odeon cinema sits on the Brayford waterfront and as well as its several screens has a Ben and Jerry’s ice cream parlour and Costa Coffee.
